Ballhead Waterleaf (Hydrophyllum capitatum var capitatum)
Early spring perennial, deeply rooted, 4-18", may be shorter at higher elevations.
Found in Washington, Oregon and Idaho
Leaves:   Pinnate, on long petioles, with lobed leaflets
Flowers: Blue or bluish purple ballheads, sit on stalk lower than the leaves generally
Habitat:   Found in moist wooded areas
Range:     Found in Washington, Oregon and Idaho
