Menzies delphinium (Delphinium menziesii)

Mid to late spring perennial, erect stems 6-20". Easily confused with other delphiniums.
Leaves:   palmate, some basal, some on stem, may be linear on stem, long petiole.
Flowers: Dark lavender or bluish-purple, 3-20 in cluster in top half of stem; long straight spur.
Habitat:   Found in moist areas, open or wooded, along streams.
Range:     Found in Washington, Oregon and Idaho.
