Upright stem, perennial;
Leaves:   Triangular shape, heart shape at base, turn to dry papery and stay on plant
Flowers: Single ray flower.
Habitat:   Ponderosa and sagebrush hillsides
Range:    May be found in Washington, Oregon, Idaho
